A come bet treats the next roll as a come-out roll. He doesn't feel good about his chances of making his point before sevening out, but he also doesn't feel a natural coming on the next roll. He rolls a 10, which doesn't settle either bet. If he had placed a come bet, then he would want to see a 10 before a 7, but since he placed a don't come bet, he now wants to seven out before rolling a He is as likely to roll a 4 as he is to roll a 10, but still twice as likely to roll a 7 as either of those two established points.

Another name for the two is "loose deuce". Three is typically called as "three craps three" during the comeout roll, or "three, ace deuce, come away single" when not on the comeout to signify the come bet has been lost and to pay single to any field bettors.
Three may also be referred to as "ace caught a deuce", or even less often "acey deucey". A hard four can be called a "ballerina" because it is two-two " tutu ". Five is often called "no field five" in casinos in which five is not one of the field rolls and thus not paid in the field bets.
Other names for a five are "fever" and "little Phoebe". Six may be referred to as "Jimmie Hicks" or "Jimmie Hicks from the sticks", examples of rhyming slang. Jan 21, , I'm just going to follow up in case anybody is looking on L' and Golden Nugget is offering ridiculous prices. The hotel rates are off the charts for the Nugget, so go with L' if you really want to stay at either casino. The table min's are ridiculous. Friday night at the L' they were 15 at Craps and Blackjack. Didn't go to Nugget that night. Saturday night they were 25 at the nugget and 20 craps 15 blackjack at the L'. By 2am, everything was 25 at L'.
As I said before, I have never seen this kind of minimum in my life. There is Island of Capri on the Northern end to check out, so if you are going to Lake Charles for table games check them out; I have heard they are cheaper.
But don't expect vegas style minimum table on a weekend night. Don't go to Lake Charles for table games, on the weekends a hotel is going to be at least close to the casinos. Might be more reasonable on the weekdays, but from what I hear its not. Go to Vegas instead, book a hotel at the South end or Downtown for better table limits. You can always find 10 dollar limits in Vegas on a weekend night.
On a side note: I had them call me one and I got "Capitol G" taxi. He was an independent taxi breaking all kinds of laws on our 2 mile, 10 dollar trip. I will never visit a L' casino again based on that taxi call alone. The hotel room was fine, but I don't like the service.
